MARCELLO’S RESTAURANT and PIANO BAR in Danville first opened its doors in July of 1982. When founders and original owners and PIERANGELO BIGOTTI (Angelo) and GERMANO FOSCHI (Gerry) both from Italy established it as a dining experience which you would consider a true Tuscan treat. Angelo and Gerry created the restaurant out of a passion for good food and excellent service. The making of fresh pasta on the premises is just one of the specials available daily. Dining at this restaurant is indeed close to being back in Tuscany, Thanks to cuisine that offers a true taste of traditional fare, a welcome "bevenuto" and ambience that’s as good for a celebration as for a quiet dinner for two.

THE PIANO BAR offers happy hour and live music from Tuesdays to Sundays. Pop in, for a cappuccino, cocktail or a glass of wine, enjoy a bowl of pasta or sit down for a hearty tuscan dinner. We can accommodate 120 people in the Dinning Room and 21 on our beautiful covered patio. The patio with view of the Boulevard is also a great experience for a warm summer night or a beautiful lunch or afternoon meeting. Marcello’s is an treat for the price. Most maintain its one of Danville’s best kept secrets. In this warm, cozy atmosphere, the new owners Jochen Wenzel and Amparo Del Rio, a husband and wife team and the entire Marcello’s staff work diligently to provide a wonderful experience.
